FAQ

FAQ 1: What are quilting panels?
Quilting panels are pre-designed fabric panels that include quilt blocks or layout elements already arranged for you. Hooligan Creations quilting panels help reduce cutting time and make piecing faster and easier.
FAQ 2: Are these quilting panels good for beginners?
Yes! Our panels are beginner-friendly because they simplify the most time-consuming steps. You’ll spend less time measuring and cutting, and more time sewing and enjoying the project—while still getting a beautiful, polished quilt.
FAQ 3: How do I use a quilting panel to make a quilt faster?
Simply follow the block layout, sew the pieces together, and assemble your quilt top. Quilting panels help speed up the process by reducing prep work and improving accuracy, making it easier to finish quilts quickly and confidently.

Story quilts- made from YOUR memories

All designs are original and developed through a combination of hand artistry and digital design processes. We start with your favorite photo and memories and add personal touches - even using some cloth cut from a loved one's discarded clothing or cloth from clothes of a loved one no longer with us.”

How does it work? We design a fabric with what you send us, have it printed and work from there. Clients can give us input on colors and theme. We supply the creativity.

LEFT: Custom panel done from a child's photograph for one of our custom story quilts. This child loved Quantum Physics for Babies - and DUCKS. It was a challenge to create. This is the panel we came up with and the finished quilt was a twin size with a beautifully pieced border, binding, and a suitable fun long arm design for the long arming. The subtle background fabric is one of our own designs and works great with almost any quilt project. We often design a companion fabric to add to your quilt, as well.
We can design these for baby gifts, graduations, memorial quilts, or anything meaningful to you.
